April 2009 - Letter from the President

What a dynamic time for Sand Hill Global Advisors! By now, most of you know that we have re-acquired the firm from Boston Private Financial Holdings (BPFH). After seven years in this very constructive relationship, we felt it was time to move to the next phase of Sand Hill’s life as an employee-owned company. Our long-term partnership with Boston Private has been extremely positive, and we certainly intend to continue working with BPFH and its affiliates to the benefit of both our organizations.

The reality of this change has given the new owners renewed energy, excitement, and creativity that go hand-in-hand with “pride of ownership.” Above all, it is our tangible vote of confidence in the solid present and positive future of Sand Hill Global Advisors.
