April 2011 - Letter from the CEO
Is there anyone who has been shielded from the latest political battles over the budget: what to cut, how much to cut, whether or not to raise the debt ceiling, and all the surrounding issues? The joy and frustration of our system is our “right to argue,” making the path to resolution long, winding and most times bumpy (at times mountainous!). The skill and judgment required to navigate to a win-win solution take experience, breadth and depth of knowledge, creativity, and above all, an unfailing commitment to the best interests of those being represented.
While thankfully the investment and planning process that defines Sand Hill is neither contentious nor political, what it takes to get the job done for our clients is much the same: “experience, breadth and depth of knowledge, creativity, and above all, an unfailing commitment to the best interests of those being represented” describes the Sand Hill approach to a tee. We are committed to the fiduciary standard of independence and objectivity. We are employee-owned, a model that links client and principal together like no other in the investment business. We are constantly pushing ourselves to provide meaningful, high quality services and resources to our clients. In addition to individualized planning and advice, our institutional quality asset allocation and investment process sets us apart from the competition.
We never forget: Sand Hill Global Advisors “wins” only if our clients win. In a complicated business, that’s pretty simple.
