Welcome to 2009!

And a New Year has never been more welcome! All of us at Sand Hill are greeting 2009 with heightened sensitivity to our clients’ needs and concerns, and at the same time an even stronger commitment to the value of staying invested in a sensible plan as the best long term financial strategy. Our game plan for 2009 includes increased communication and education. Along with our direct ongoing vigilant reviews of your portfolio, our goal is to provide you with a better understanding of the overall economic environment using a variety of resources. Complementing our normal Market Commentary is the Personal Planning article that helps to put the “big picture” in context. Our Financial Forum on “Investing in Today’s World” will feature a panel of experts discussing the global picture, and how it relates to our range of investment options. And of course, we intend to stay in touch with you as we work our way through the current economic difficulties with cautious optimism.
