October 2010 - Letter from the CEO
As hard as it is to believe, this is my last opportunity this year to express my gratitude to all you for your loyalty to Sand Hill Global Advisors. We never take your business for granted, and hope that we can continue to serve you well for many years to come. By the time I write to you again, we will have said goodbye to the first decade of the 21st century! We constantly ask “Where does the time go,” but in reality we know EXACTLY where it goes. For the Sand Hill team, our days are spent with the myriad of activities that in the end produce the kind of financial advisory services our clients need, want, and deserve. From client meetings, to refining our investment strategy, to reviewing our wealth management approach, we are in constant motion. The service we provide has many “behind the scenes” facets, and relies not only on superb investment expertise, but on having access to knowledge in many areas that may affect your financial decisions, from long-term care to Roth IRAs to current tax law. To pull all these pieces together effectively means having the right team - people who have the ability and the desire to learn all they need to know to do the best job for our clients. I am incredibly proud to say that describes your Sand Hill team. When I look at our business from this perspective, it’s a wonder the time doesn’t go even faster!
