Brian Dombkowski, Sand Hill’s Chief Investment Officer, has recently joined the Board of Directors for Children’s Health Council. Children’s Health Council (CHC) helps children, teens, and families find the best ways to learn, develop, and thrive. Every year, nearly 3,500 Bay Area families lean on Children’s Health Council’s team of interdisciplinary specialists to prevent problems and get help when challenges emerge. Whether the challenge is small or large, the CHC team looks at what’s unique about every child to find solutions that work for the whole family.

Areas of specialty:

ADHD, behavior difficulties, autism spectrum disorders, learning challenges, developmental concerns, anxiety and depression, medical fragility, toileting, peer pressure, parent-teen conflict and more.

Specialists include:

Assistive Technology Specialist, Educational Specialists. Behavioral Specialists, Marriage Family Therapists, Parent Coaches, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Psychologists, Neuropsychologists, and Psychiatrists

Services include:

Parent education, evaluation, screenings, individual and family therapy, group therapy including social skills groups, parent coaching, parent consultations for educational challenges, school placement services, and educational instruction for kids.

Schools include:

  • Sand Hill School—Early support for struggling learners (Grades K-3)
  • Esther B. Clark School—comprehensive help for complex kids
